Bookbinding Extravanza

ChabadCLE was blessed by the Teen Boys Club, recently named "Food 4 Thought", when they gathered at the shul to bind those holy siddurim and chumashim that are showing their age.

The boys, under the leadership of Dr. Yosef Porter and Reb Eli Shomer, learned the art and bound tens of our sefarim. Thanks guys!WhatsApp Image 2021-12-25 at 10.03.41 PM.jpeg

Chassidic Melodies #6

We were so pleased this week that Reb Shimon chose to introduce us to a new Chabad meditative classic: the Niggun of Rav Yaakov Mordechai of Poltave, a.k.a. the Poltaver Niggun.
This Rav Yaakov Mordechai was an extremely powerful Rav and pious chassid, and is said to have been the study partner of none other than the Rebbe Rashab himself.
For a broader history of Chassidic Poltaver see here, and to hear the Niggun sung by Avraham Fried click here

Par-ade Par-excellence

We are so proud of our brothers and sisters who worked so hard to pull off an amazing Car Menorah Parade. Chief among them is R' AJ and Reb. Chaya Bulua and co. who devoted heart and soul to Hashem's holy holidays.

The parade was written up in the news so many times:

And we have some pics:
