Women’s Mikvah COVID-19 Protocols:

  • The mikvah is cleaned and sanitized daily, including all surfaces and utensils. 
  • According to the CDC website:

“There is no evidence that COVID-19 can be spread to humans through the use of pools and hot tubs. Proper operation, maintenance, and disinfection (e.g., with chlorine and bromine) of pools and hot tubs should remove or inactivate the virus that causes COVID-19.”

  • Any woman who is ill or quarantined should NOT come to the mikvah. Please consult with your doctor and Rav. Any sick woman who comes to the mikvah will not be allowed in. If there is a question please consult with your doctor and your Rav, who will contact us.
  • Any woman who is immunocompromised should contact Deena Davidovich at 216-338-4685 and we will arrange to accommodate this need.
  • For Friday night usage, please contact Deena Davidovich at 216-338-4685.
  • Please do all preparations, including bathing and showering at home. No baths or showers will be taken at the mikvah. The mikvah will only provide supplies upon request. They will not be kept in the preparation rooms. 
  • Please bring your own towels.
  • Upon arrival at the mikvah, please remain in your car and text the mikvah lady. She will contact you with instructions when a room is available. Please call 216-381-3170 and press 2 for the attendant’s number for that night. 
  • Wash your hands when you arrive.
  • Rooms are sanitized between patrons.
  • Between patrons, attendants will clean the hand rails, replace the floor mat and wash their hands or use hand sanitizer and change their gloves. 
  • The attendant will not touch the patron. When ready to immerse, please buzz the attendant. When she is ready for you, she will intercom you to go into the mikvah. Then she will enter the room to supervise the tevilla. After tevilla, please look at the attendant. Then she will exit and you can come out of the water and return to your preparation room.
  • Please leave the facility as quickly as possible. Please help us minimize the amount of time you spend at the mikvah.
  • Please wash your hands often.
  • Please pay mikvah fee of $25 as well as any bedikah cloth purchases online at https://kbb-mikvah-fund.square.site/
  • These policies have been made in consultation with local and national Rabonim and infectious disease doctors.

The Mikveh is located at 2479 S. Green Road, behind the Waxman Chabad Center. The women's Mikveh entrance is around the back.

  • Appointments are not necessary during the hours listed below, even on Shabbos and Yom Tov.
  • Please try to be finished by the closing time.
  • If you are unable to come to the mikvah during these hours, please call or text Deena Davidovich at 216-338-4685 to make a special arrangement. Advance notice is appreciated, whenever possible.
  • Bedikah Cloths are available at the mikvah, at Blum's, at Mika's, from Rebetzin Chaikin or Deena Davidovich.
  • To increase your privacy during the summer or an event, you may park in the Yavne parking lot directly behind the mikvah and walk on the lit path to the mikvah parking lot.
  • During the summer months, the mikvah is opened a few minutes before the zman tevillah (immersion time) to allow women time to finish their preparations and be toveil b'zman (immerse in time).
  • Erev Yom Kippur, the Women's Mikveh is open from 9:30 -11:30 am. Please bring $5.00 and your own towel.
